Very rare Art Deco circa 1930s Praying Madonna Ceramic Sculpture by Otto Maraini. Made at "IGNI Manufactura" in Torino, Italy in collaboration with "Lenci Manufactura". Beautiful blue with gold ornamental scroll design of the tunic. Stamped on the bottom with underglazed mark. Otto Maraini (1904-1970) is famous Italian designer, architect & artist. The artist's artworks have gone up for sale at worldwide auction many times at high prices.
