An unusual Vatican Stone crystal tumble stone.
Vatican Stone is also known as Frosterley Marble or Frostile Marble.
It comes from only one place, the village of Frosterley in County Durham, England.
It is not actually a Marble but a black Limestone dotted with beautiful fossilised Stags Horn Coral.
These fossils are around 325 million years old.
Frosterley Marble has been used as a building stone since the Middle Ages and was used in several important religious buildings of that era including Durham Cathedral and The Vatican.
The stone you see in the photographs is the one you will receive.
Tumble stones are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones. Carry them in your bag or pocket or place them under your pillow.
