The Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory’s signature - The Blue “Cobalt Mesh” on the dishes - first appeared in 1944. The set of 6 cups and saucers, painted in the cold yet captivating northern color, was created by Leningrad artist Anna Yatskevich. Several of her photographs are preserved in the factory’s museum.
Each cup and saucer is the result of meticulous handcrafting by masters and hand painted with 22K gold design preserving the traditions and high quality of the Imperial Factory.
Imperial Porcelain Manufactory is a producer of hand-painted ceramics in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was established by Dmitry Vinogradov in 1744 and was supported by the Russian tsars since Empress Elizabeth.
