Wet Plate Collodion / Kollodium Master Set Ambrotypie & Ferrotypie
Das Chemie Set enthält sämtliche Chemikalien um mit dem Kollodiumprozess sofort starten zu können. Die Chemie ist lange haltbar und sehr Anfänger freundlich. Das Silberbad enthält 90 g Silbernitrat. Qualität reinst. Es ist aktiviert und auf eine Dichte von ca. 1,075 g/m³ eingestellt. Das Kollodium lässt sich sehr leicht gießen, es hat eine zart gelbe Farbe und ist somit viel lichtempfindlicher, als vergleichbare Kollodium Rezepturen. Fertige Bilder können ganz einfach mit Kapon Varnish lackiert werden. Die Platten müssen hierzu nicht erhitzt werden. Jeder Käufer/in erhält ein ausführliches Handout mit Verarbeitungshinweisen zum nassen Kollodiumverfahren.

The Chemistry Set contains all chemicals to start the collodion process immediately. The chemistry is long lasting and very beginner friendly. Silver bath contains 90 g of silver nitrate. Quality pure. It is activated and adjusted to a density of approx. 1.075 g/m³. The collodion is very easy to pour, it has a delicate yellow color and is therefore more light sensitive than comparable collodion recipes. Finished images can be easily painted with Kapon Varnish. The plates do not need to be heated for this. Each buyer receives a detailed handout with processing instructions for the wet collodion process.


Important note:
The Collodion Chemistry Set can only be shipped within Europe, as Kapon Varnish may not be transported by air cargo (no shipping of spray cans with UN 1950). Also islands cannot be delivered.
