FANTASTIC PAIR SATO SIGNED JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASES W/ KOI - EXCELLENT+++

Wonderful vases !  First time I have ever seen this subject or quality from Sato !  Ever ! Period !

Nice example from one of Japan's most highly respected artists.

Two koi in brilliant orange in mirror image, water plants in green on light blue ground.

Marked on the base rim with SATO imprint.

Solid vases with thick enamel.  VERY heavy in hand.

Sized at 7 1/2" tall and 4" at widest.

Truly an exceptional pair of signed vases.  AND, everyone loves the koi...

Condition is excellent.  I see no flaws.  

Sato quality speaks for itself.  

However, I must say these vases are the nicest I have seen from this maker.

Simply an outstanding pair of vases by one of Japan's most respected cloisonne artists.  

These don't come up that often in this fine condition.
