For offer, a superb set of 'Art Deco' sterling silver & enamel coffee spoons, complete with their original case.
The spoon terminals have an interlaced double diamond design, which has been decorated in individual coloured enamel.
Hallmarked for the Chester assay office, year date letter of a stylised "n" for 1938 and makers mark of "W&H" for 'Walker & Hall' of Sheffield.
The condition of each spoon is superb, with absolutely no damage to the enameling, all hallmarks are clear and legible, with the silver showing little sign of age and usage, the leather covered box is in very good condition, with fully working catch and hinges, and minor wear to the external surfaces, the internal lining of Ivory raw silk and Black velvet is whole and intact.
