OPTICALLY: EXCELLENT+ / PERFECT-
all lenses with NO deep scratches, deep cleaning marks, cracks or any other serious damages on glasses; there are NO fungus, mold, fog, haze, separations or any other serious damages inside optical construction in all lenses from this set; all lenses can have some really MICRO cleaning marks here and there, but never visible by naked eye, usually faint ones, which are normal in vintage lenses, as old lenses never be new lenses and they always have some signs of use; lenses can have few MICRO marks/spots on glasses coatings, but it is quite normal and even new lenses sometimes have them; lenses have some MICRO pieces of dust inside optical construction, but nothing to worry about; please, note, that this lens set was in service for full CLA (cleaning & lubricating), so now it works really excellent; minimal optical issues showed with detailed LED lamp test: 1) 20mm lens has few marks under front glass coatings, like some part of coatings has more violet color, than other parts of this glass; 2) 50mm lens has some marks/spots under front glass, just near edge of this glass; it has some more cleaning marks inside, than other lenses, but still not visible with naked eye, just under LED lamp, when you look through it; 5) 80mm lens is softer, than other lenses from this set, but it is portrait lens, so it is quite normal, as from f/4 it is all good and from f/5.6 is very sharp again; lens has few to some cleaning marks on it's rear glass, but this is nothing to worry about; 6) 135mm lens has some more dust inside, than other lenses, but this is micro dust, not visible on movie material; please, note, that LED test is critical test and even new lenses has some issues to pass it; i just want to be 100% honest with Buyer, so i did around 20 min LED test with all lenses from this set, so i've spent around 3-4 minutes per lens to check and describe them really good; most of those 'issues' are NOT visible on movie material for sure, as it was during test filming

MECHANICALLY: EXCELLENT+ / PERFECT-
focus rings in all lenses from this set works smooth, with no issues, as set was freshly serviced in NOVEMBER 2023; i've checked all lenses with manual and electronic follow focus units and they all work really good; aperture rings in all lenses works fine, with no issues; they all have de-clicked aperture, so aperture work, like in real cine lenses; lenses have M42 screw mount, but i've adapted them with high quality EF / M42 adapters to Canon EF mount; there's no oil on aperture blades, so aperture in all lenses close to the end; minimal mechanical issues, that are really not issues: 1) 35mm lens focus ring during work sounds a bit gritty, but this is not even mechanical issue; 2) 80mm lens works a bit unregular at the end of focusing, but still fine, especially with ff units, you can feel it more, when you focus by hand; 3) ALL lenses have standard 'breathing' when focusing, so they have minimal backlash / play during it; this is normal in this type of lenses and i do not even think, it is an issue here, as those lenses works like that and there's nothing you can do about it; they are just not very expensive cinematic lenses, but standard photo lenses, so to have perfect working condition, you need to spend thousands per lens for re-housing, as standard housings are like they are

VISUALLY: EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT+
all lenses from this set have LIGHT to NORMAL signs of use on their casings, as can be seen on REAL pictures under this set description; minimal visual issues in all lenses: 1) 80mm lens has more signs of use, than other lenses from the set; 2) all lenses have some light scratches here and there, light paint missing on casing and normal amount of dust in some places; in general, this set is still in excellent visual condition for it's age for sure; there are NO serious damages on lenses casings, but like in old lenses, there can be few of them, like deeper scratch here and there or really micro dents / cracks on casing, but they are minimal, almost not noticeable and there's nothing to worry about, as if they are there, they are just visual issues; lenses scale numbers (feet and metric) are still very visible; i recommend to check almost 50 pictures of the set, evaluate them and decide, what you think about this set by yourself
