RARE FRENCH WOODEN BOOK "La Mésaventure des petits  Kanguroos", P. CANDIDE, 1920

A board book of French ingenuity. Robert and Julien reprise the adventures of Little Red Riding Hood when a vagrant monkey tricks them into handing over Grandpa's luncheon basket. Not in Muir.

Unnumbered pages printed on six wooden boards with col. ill. and French text on each page with leather tabs and cloth spine. Page [1] commences on the verso of the cover.

Separated and one page missing, darkened with age and use, some children's pencil scribbles (see photos), woodworm old and treated.

Measurements: 25 cm x 19 cm
