Revox Studer G36 two speed, four track stereo tape recorder in good working order. Sold in the UK as Revox 736. This is a late version of the machine (serial no. 77905, circa 1967) with an optical end-of-tape detector. Tape speeds 3.75 ips and 7.5 ips. The advanced design features cathode-follower outputs.

Thoroughly tested: None of the 12 original valves required replacing; mechanical tape stop works; pots not crackly; brakes adjusted for all spool sizes; built-in monitoring speakers working; all indicator lamps working; pinch roller in very good condition; tape heads show little sign of wear; end-of-tape detector working.

The lid was smartened up. Peeling vinyl top removed and poorly designed clips modified to work properly.
The machine comes with instruction manual, circuit diagram, sales literature and specifications; some cabling; spool adapters.

And range of mostly filled spools:

Metal spools:
11" (22off);

Plasic spools:
8.25" (2off); 7" (14off); 5.75" (3off); 5" (9off); 4" (3off); 3" (3off).

Beautiful example of this machine. One private owner. Records and plays with excellent quality.
Collect in person because heavy and fragile.
