  • Bezeichnung: Rechts unten in der Zeichnung sowie auf dem Karton signiert mit "C.Se G." und datiert: "Oberammergau 14. September 1890".
    Vor den bayerischen Alpen im Hintergrund ist auf der linken Bildseite die Kirche St. Peter und Paul dargestellt, die als bedeutendes Beispiel des süddeutschen Barock gilt. Die Bäume haben noch nicht ihr Laub verloren und vermitteln den Eindruck einer üppigen Natur in den Bayerischen Alpen.

  • Inscription: Signed "C.Se G." and dated "Oberammergau 14 September 1890" at the bottom right of the drawing and on the cardboard.
    The church of St. Peter and Paul, which is considered an important example of southern German Baroque, is depicted in front of the Bavarian Alps in the background on the left-hand side of the picture. The trees have not yet lost their leaves and give the impression of lush nature in the Bavarian Alps.
