• Description: View of the funerary monument to the great classical scholar Johann Winckelmann. He is considered the founder of classical archaeology and modern art history. He died in an assassination attempt in 1768.

• Condition: Rather good condition. The paper is discoloured due to age. The image makes a good impression. The sheet is foxed and torn in places along the margins, glued on the verso; corners creased or torn off, with water stain and creases.
