• Bezeichnung: Unten auf der Original-Unterlage bezeichnet: "Daheim: ein deutsches Familienblatt mit Illustrationen", erschien von 1864-1943 im Verlag Daheim-Expedition (Velhagen & Klasing) in Leipzig, Bielefeld und Berlin, Jagdtreff.", oben rechts in der Darstellung handschriftlich bezeichnet: "N. 10 / Redaktion von Daheim, Dr. Andrae(?). verso mit weiterer Studie: Jagdhorn Spielender.
  Die anfangs wöchentlich, später in 14-tägigem Rhythmus erschienene Zeitschrift "Daheim: ein deutsches Familienblatt mit Illustrationen" war in der Gestaltung der "Gartenlaube" nachempfunden. Sie erschien von 1864 bis 1943 im Verlag Daheim-Expedition (Velhagen & Klasing) in Leipzig, Bielefeld und Berlin. Von 1915 bis 1918 verlegte der Verlag auch eine Unterreihe "Illustrierte Kriegschronik des Daheim.". Zu den Autoren und Illustratoren zählte u.a. die zu der Zeit sehr bekannte Ottilie Wildermuth, Theodor Fontane, Paul Heyse und Richard Knötel.

• Inscription: Inscribed at the bottom of the original support: "Daheim: ein deutsches Familienblatt mit Illustrationen", published from 1864-1943 by Daheim-Expedition (Velhagen & Klasing) in Leipzig, Bielefeld and Berlin, Jagdtreff.", inscribed in handwriting at the top right of the image: "N. 10 / Redaktion von Daheim, Dr Andrae(?). verso with further study: Jagdhorn Spielender.
  The magazine "Daheim: ein deutsches Familienblatt mit Illustrationen", initially published weekly and later fortnightly, was modelled on the "Gartenlaube" in its design. It was published by Daheim-Expedition (Velhagen & Klasing) in Leipzig, Bielefeld and Berlin from 1864 to 1943. From 1915 to 1918, the publishing house also published a sub-series "Illustrierte Kriegschronik des Daheim.". The authors and illustrators included Ottilie Wildermuth, Theodor Fontane, Paul Heyse and Richard Knötel, who were very well known at the time.

• Condition: Good condition. With two vertical fold marks in the centre; the sheet shows brownish stains and traces of colour, slightly creased in places along the sheet edges; paper rubbed at the top centre of the sheet edge.
