  • Beschreibung: Bezeichnet rechts unterhalb der Darstellung "J.C. Richter in Breslau gest. 1795", benannt "Friedrich Wilhelm II/König von Preussen/Friderika Louise/Königinn von Preussen". Doppelporträt des einstigen preußischen Königspaares. Es zeigt Friedrich Wilhelm II (1744 Berlin- 1797 Potsdam), der von 1786 bis zu seinem Tod König von Preußen und Markgraf von Brandenburg und Kurfürst des Heiligen Römischen Reiches war. Daneben seine Gemahlin, Prinzessin Friederike Luise von Hessen-Darmstadt (1751 Prenzlau-1805 Berlin). Die Porträtierten erscheinen als standhafte, entschlossene Regenten.

  • Description: Inscribed on the right below the depiction "J.C. Richter in Breslau died 1795", inscribed "Friedrich Wilhelm II/King of Prussia/Friderika Louise/King of Prussia". Double portrait of the former Prussian royal couple. It shows Frederick William II (1744 Berlin - 1797 Potsdam), who was King of Prussia and Margrave of Brandenburg and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 1786 until his death. Next to him is his wife, Princess Friederike Luise of Hesse-Darmstadt (1751 Prenzlau-1805 Berlin). The sitters appear as steadfast, determined rulers.
