Synchronous rectification is a new technology that uses special power MOSFETs with very low on-state resistance to replace rectifier diodes in order to reduce rectification losses. For battery charging, after discharging the battery, connect it to the output and adjust the CC to your desired current. (When used for charging, be sure to use the discharged battery to adjust it, because the more power left in the battery, the smaller the charging current.)
