  • Beschreibung: Das Blatt zeigt ein ornamental gerahmtes ovales Miniaturporträt des König Odo. Odo von Paris (französisch Eudes) war König des Westfränkischen Reichs von 888 bis 898 und der ältere der beiden Söhne Graf Roberts des Tapferen und dessen zweiter Gemahlin Adelheid von Tours. Das Blatt stammt aus dem Buch: Cronique sommairement traictee des faictz heroiques de tous les rois de France, & des personnes & choses memorables de leurs temps, herausgegeben von Clement Baudin, in Lyon. Das Buch zeigt eine Sammlung von Bildnissen der Könige Frankreichs mit kurzgefassten Lebensläufen.

  • Description: The sheet shows an ornamentally framed oval miniature portrait of King Odo. Odo of Paris (French: Eudes) was king of the West Frankish Empire from 888 to 898 and the elder of the two sons of Count Robert the Brave and his second wife Adelheid of Tours. The sheet comes from the book: Cronique sommairement traictee des faictz heroiques de tous les rois de France, & des personnes & choses memorables de leurs temps, edited by Clement Baudin, in Lyon. The book shows a collection of portraits of the kings of France with brief biographies.

  • Condition: Rather good condition. The paper is slightly discoloured due to its age. The sheet is foxed in places. The image makes a good impression. In places there are discolourations and pale stains.
