  • Beschreibung: Bildnis der Heiligen Elisabeth von Thüringen (1207 Pressburg - 1231 Marburg) in Nonnentracht mit Krone, Rücken an Rücken mit einem jungen Geistlichen mit Bischofsstab. In dem aus Efeuranken gebildeten Rahmen befinden sich vier Ordensschwestern, deren Namen nach dem Anmerkungsblatt "Maria Raphaela", "Maria Emanuela", "Maria Euphemia" und "Maria Theresia" lauten. Elisabeth, die Patronin von Thüringen und Hessen, ist bekannt für ihre wohltätige Arbeit und ihren Einsatz für die Armen und Bedürftigen.

  • Description: Portrait of Saint Elisabeth of Thuringia (1207 Pressburg - 1231 Marburg) in nun's habit with crown, back to back with a young clergyman with bishop's staff. In the frame formed by ivy vines are four nuns whose names, according to the annotation sheet, are "Maria Raphaela", "Maria Emanuela", "Maria Euphemia" and "Maria Theresa". Elisabeth, the patron saint of Thuringia and Hesse, is known for her charitable work and her commitment to the poor and needy.
