Camera powers on; charger powers on, powers camera on, and charges batteries.
Batteries will not hold charge for a long time due to age, this is normal.

Camera recording mechanism engages when button is pressed and icon shows it to be recording [T lights up in viewfinder piece].
This model does not do playback so we are unable to confirm the recorded footage.

The reason it is being listed for parts is that the zoom buttons do not appear to be doing anything when pressed.
