You may note in photo #7 that the spine on these volumes has been reinforced. I believe that to be because these a heavy library copies and the library had this done to all books of this type and expense to protect them from damage rather than to repair damage. These books are undamaged or abused. My experience has proved to find many expensive library editions in great shape because of this practice.
This is the complete two volume set that will tell you everything you could ever want to know about the
"Great Rebellion" or American Civil War what ever you want to call it. The page edges are slighty discolored over the years but the book,like I said, it unabused and only show slight shelf wear if any.
