Great vintage ladies' souvenir handkerchief from Scotland with a shepherd and his dog giving a sprig of white heather to a young couple with the saying "An old Scottish Shepherd found it way up in the Highlands. Just a sprig of white heather, it's guid luck, ye ken,' the old man said...'May it 'mind ye o'Bonnie Scotland!" The hankie has never been used, but no longer has any tags attached. It is machine stitched on four sides and measures 11.25 x 11.5 inches. The fabric is a silk or polyester blend of some kind. Other than a hint of storage soiling, particularly on the fold lines, it is in excellent, never used condition. Nice NOS hanky that would look great framed as a wall hanging!
