The Good Bits: Fully boxed in original packaging. Cosmetically excellent, it's had very little use. The motor and headlights work, when power is applied directly to the motor wires.

The Bad Bits: There is a major issue, with I suspect, the loco circuit board. When power is applied to the loco wheels, it trips the power supply. Also, the wiring had pulled out of the connectors between the tender, and loco, and shows signs of being overheated.

I've fitted a battery to the tender, and applied power to the wheels. No flashes or bangs, but no sound either, so I presume it needs connecting to the loco to activate the sounds.

All in all, a great base for a project to upgrade the control system to radio control, or digital control.
