This 200 Malagasy ariary banknote is part of the 2017 series of banknotes that have the theme Madagascar and Its Riches. Its obverse side contains Malagasy text, an outline map of Madagascar, two birds in flight, and a view of the Amber Mountains Waterfall. Its reverse side depicts the flowering tree on Nosy Hara and migrating butterflies. The note has a butterfly registration device, a solid security thread with demetalized BFM 200 and Madagascar map, and a Zebu cattle head and electrotype 200 watermarks. The note measures 119 mm long and 63 mm wide and is in uncirculated condition.
