Unfortunately, Heliopan closed its doors in September 2023. They were the last to manufacture high quality B&W filters in diameters compatible with the Rolleiflex. This is undoubtedly one of the last opportunities to be able to purchase a high quality B&W filter for your Rolleiflex.

The yellow-green (11) Heliopan filter moderately reduces blue tones, reduces red and brightens green tones. This is a universal filter for spring and summer landscapes with a lot of foreground, undoubtedly the most interesting black and white filter for European landscapes. It corrects the tonal value for the reproduction of different colors when using conventional panchromatic films in artificial light and also for portraits and group images in daylight.

The front and rear surfaces of the filter both feature a single anti-reflection coating. Each coating helps to increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. Additionally, they offer protection to the filter substrate while helping to keep the glass clean for longer than uncoated glass.

This Heliopan filter is constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. It features a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.
