This graceful swan is a perfect example why Royal Albert Old Country Roses is considered the most popular china pattern in the world since its introduction in 1962. Her beautiful, delicate bone china is adorned with gorgeous clusters of burgundy, pink, and yellow roses, detailed and life-like edges, and artistically-placed 22 carat gold detail.  Unfortunately, the photos don't do the flowers, particularly the wine colored, justice because of glare and reflection of the lighter surrounding flowers.

I see no chips, cracks, discolorations, etc. and have tried to show every aspect of her in the photos.

Note: While Royal Albert Old Country Roses pieces have the 1962 marking, that does not mean when the piece itself was made. The 1962 denotes only when the Old Country Roses design was first introduced.

The mark on this swan indicates it was made between 1974 and 1980. I know this piece was one of the earlier as it was given to our mother (who was from England) shortly after being introduced.
