"The Book of the Law," also known as "Liber AL vel Legis," is the central text in the philosophy and religious system of Thelema, a spiritual movement founded by Aleister Crowley himself. The book was dictated to Crowley in Cairo, Egypt, in 1904 by a being named Aiwass, who claimed to be a messenger of a divine entity.
