It features twelve of Rackham's full color plates with titled tissue-guards, numerous black-and-white illustrations in text and pictorial endpapers. Published in 1931 by George C. Harrap and printed at the Riverside Press in Edinburgh. Introduction by British author and naturalist Henry Williamson. Condition: 4to, 224 pages - 10 3/4"x8 1/4" Publishers' Cream vellum with gilt titles and small gilt fish device on the spine. No slipcase. Top edges gilt. Rough-cut edges with several still uncut. Some foxing and toning with a few spots to the boards. Front board slightly cocked. Some foxing to the endpapers and preliminary pages as well as along a few of the rough-cut edges. Overall, a nice copy of this sought after limited edition signed by Rackham.
