About This Items

    ◆A full set of Kintsugi tools for beginners and intermediates (29 types/45 items). It can be used with the traditional "hon lacquer kintsugi".

    To make it easier for even first-time users, we have attached a manual that explains everything from preparation for work to repair procedures and tips for achieving a beautiful finish.
    Kintsugi takes approximately one month to complete, although the time required to complete it varies depending on the cracks of the vessel and the season (temperature and humidity). Please enjoy the world of Kintsugi, where small items are carefully completed over time. Product List ■(1) Raw lacquer: Used as a base for adhesives, putty, and colored lacquer.
    ■(2): Gold powder/silver powder: Used as Makie powder.
    ■(3) Red Bengara/Kurobengara: Mix with lacquer to create colored lacquer that will serve as the base for sprinkling makie powder.
    ■(4) Grinding powder: Stone or clay powder. Use as putty for small areas.
    ■(5) Wood powder: Wood powder. Use as putty for large areas. 
    ■(6) Strong powder: Mix with lacquer to create barley lacquer (natural adhesive).
    ■(7) Turpentine oil: This is an oil refined from pine. It is used for cleaning brushes, etc. when diluting lacquer.
    ■(8) Jirako spatula: Used for kneading lacquer, etc.
    ■(9) Bamboo skewer: Create a bamboo spatula by scraping or scraping the protruding part.
    ■(10) Face brush (extra-fine, fine): A brush with a fine tip, used to apply lacquer in a thin manner.
    ■(11) Flat brush: A brush with a wide tip, used when applying lacquer to large surfaces.

    This is a traditional kintsugi procedure using natural materials such as genuine lacquer, pure gold, and pure silver.
    Generally, the procedure is as follows (details are explained in detail in the attached manual).
