Campagnolo official display stand worth £450

It was released to coincide with the arrival of 12 speed and is formed of a heavyweight glossed MDF base and metal crank support.

This has stood in store as a display arrangement with a classic Colnago which has sold.

The stand operates by screwing a pug counter clockwise into the pedal hole of the non drive side crank. The material for the plug is soft so that it can easily be turned out of a thread without damage should the worst happen and it get stuck. A small amount of grease and using finger tightness rather than attempting to use the soft allen bolt hole is advised.

Were I keeping this I would actually buy a correct headed bolt and use that greased instead.

It is a lovely, striking way to display a Campagnolo equipped heirloom or legacy piece and was not available on the open market.

It has had some marks to its corners but is sturdy and functional.

Owing to its size and weight It is collection only from either Troon near Camborne TR14 or Marazion near Penzance. Collection AFTER payment.
