For your consideration is a Chinese cloisonne enamel bowl made with the technique of Plique-a-jour ("letting in daylight"). Resembling stained glass, the miniature compartments were filled with enamels of different colors to perfectly carry out the design while letting the light shine through. The dish measures 6" in diameter and stands approximately 1/2" off the ground. While there are no chips, there are some scratches which do not detract from the beauty of the piece. Otherwise, good overall condition.
