Brian Seidel was a highly accomplished artist. His former teacher, the acclaimed Jeffrey Smart once described Seidel’s work as “evocations of moments of rapture”. That said however, his work could also be startlingly quiet - moments of reflection struck clear. Seidel is represented in regional and public collections across Australia. For collectors of Australian prints ‘Winter Solstice Sunrise’ is an uplifting find.
