Here we have a gorgeous oriental boudoir foot stool. I absolutely LOVE this, it is really quite unique and there is nothing like it on the market. It has a wonderful flower petal shape which is covered in the most beautiful turquoise blue coloured fabric. I believe this is made of silk, it has has a silky feeling anyway. It has an embroidered floral, leaf, oriental scene design and is finished with a pale gold coloured trim. Unsure if the legs are original or added later but they certainly fit with it, I think the legs would look superb painted black or gold but I have left them neutral so the new owner has a choice. Unsure if this is Chinese or Japanese in origin, I would estimate it to date between 1950-60's. It measures approximately 17 inches tall by 20 inches by 20 inches so it's a really good size. A perfect piece for an interior designer or a luxury boutique. I'm sure this won't be around for too long so get it while you can! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please see my other items where I have a good selection of decorative antiques and other interesting items.

Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.

International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties; sometimes there will be a charge, I think this is mainly charged on high value items, this is something that the Government enforces to which I have no control of. I declare the value of the parcel as the price the item sold for plus shipping costs.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
