After helping legendary John McEnroe promote the return of his Nike Mac Attack, Travis Scott gears up for his own collaborative version featuring the same OG colourway. With a heated Nike Zoom call going viral, Travis vandalising the tennis star’s plaque at the Beaverton Campus and a passive-aggressive fit check, the marketing roll out has been entertaining to say the least. Although it seemed that the two stars couldn’t decide on the official name, sneakerheads will finally be able to pick up what is now called the Attack x Cactus Jack “Light Smoke Grey”. Are you trying to cop? More importantly, did you think that Zoom call was real? Let us know over on our socials!

Following several projects with Social Status, the Nike Mac Attack headlines this Travis Scott collaboration to close out its comeback year. Akin to the OG “Grey Black” iteration, the shoe has a grey mesh underlay with a black mesh panel on the forefoot, surrounded by grey leather overlays extending towards the eyestays. The black leather collar has a classic Nike label on the rear, while the heel panel flaunts an embroidered Cactus Jack logo. A signature element across most Nike x TS projects, the black reverse Swoosh brandishes the sides. The blue and black checkerboard tongue tag serves as a backdrop for the red Nike branding. The white midsole and grey rubber sole complete the updated makeover of this classic tennis trainer.

The pair arrives in a similarly styled Nike box as the OG edition did, bearing a checkered print across the lid. Given previous Travis projects have come with multiple sets of laces, we expect that to be the case on this Cactus Jack edition, so expect to see several lace swaps in the near future.
