Antique Japanese Lacquer Miniature Nesting Bowls

A complete set of late nineteenth / early twentieth century Japanese lacquered miniature nesting bowls.

Dark brown exterior with stylised hand painted bamboo decoration. Each bowl has a red painted interior.

Five small bowls stack inside - there are seven bowls in total when including the up-turned case.

Dimensions:

Case - 7cm high, 8cm wide

Diameter of the bowls - Largest 8cm, Smallest 4.7cm

Condition:

Overall, the set is in good condition. No damage or breaks. Though there might chips around the rim of each bowl and light scuff on the outside of each. Internally, there is wear to the red paint. Please inspect the pictures carefully.
