1886 PROGRESSIVE ANGLING Fish Pond Game

On offer here is an early fish pond game meant to be played by high society adults at the turn of the 19c.   This is the four player version that appears to have extra rods.  This was not intended as a childrens game, but one for adults.

Please look at all the photographs but for it's age, this game and contents have survived very well.  Some wear and tear over the last 100+ years, but still in remarkable condition overall.  Lid has separated from the box.  Not sure if it is complete, but looks well stocked.

This game was published by the Progressive Angling Co., in Newark, NJ and was patented on August 10, 1886.
