This is for an original 1952 program to the auto races at Roosevelt Stadium Speedway in Jersey City New Jersey along with two tickets to the event. From the one advertisement in the program advertising a 100 lap race for September 13, I would guess that the program came from either August or September of 1952. The program features racing great Wally Campbell, who would be the NASCAR modified champion for 1951, prominently on the cover and even features a write up about him on the inside of the first page. Wally would spend most of 1952 driving across the country in both stock cars and AAA sprints but would find the time to win the opening race of the season and the September 6 race at the track. Wally was an incredible racer in almost any type of vehicle and would be the AAA rookie of the year in 1953. He would lose his life practicing for a AAA race in Indiana in 1954 while leading the Eastern Division points championship. Frankie Schneider would win 10 races in 1952 at the track including four in a row in June and the 100 lap race to finish the season. The program is in incredible condition and even has two tickets still together for New Jersey Interstate Speedways Inc which are probably as rare as the program itself. Tough to improve on this one for rarity and condition.
