A set of 40mm H&R sport lowering springs (x4) suitable for all T5, T5.1 and T6 models from 2003 to 2019, excluding all T6.1 models.

They come fully tested and work with the standard shock absorbers. They are powder coated in the heavy duty H&R blue colour and come with two year manufacturer's warranty.

These springs are part of H&R's sport spring range and will lower your ride by approximately 40mm.

The 40mm drop is a guide figure only and measured from standard ride height.

There are four different variants available in the 40mm range depending on your van's axle weights so please message us at the checkout with your axle weights, which you can find on the sticker next to the bulkhead in the engine bay and we will ensure you will receive a set suitable for your van's specifications. Please also see listings pic of the axle weights plate for reference.

They are progressive springs made in Germany. 

Each spring is crafted from a special spring steel, shot peened to increase life by more than 200% and then individually tested before leaving the factory.

Please note that the 40mm figure is only a guideline from H&R.

 Many varying factors from van to van can effect the results achieved.

These factors range from age and mileage of vehicle,  condition of current suspension parts and obviously the amount of weight intended to be carried in the van, i.e. a fully loaded camper conversion will sit lower than an empty panel van on the same spring kit.

We also sell the 50mm springs and 40mm drop bundle kit which includes the drop link stabilising arms and VW rear spring cups (lower set). 

These are suitable for all T5 and T6's from 2003 to 2019 (excluding T6.1). 

These are recommended to be replaced if you are purchasing a new set of H&R lowering springs.

Worn rear cups can prevent new springs sitting correctly and the drop link arms

which are also often required as they can be very difficult to undo.
