Crib Quilt : 40” w x 54” l  (standard crib quilt size : 36” w x 52” l)

This whole cloth crib quilt (front is one whole piece of fabric with no created blocks) is created using a neutral jungle animal fabric print front, Warm and White 100% cotton batting, a vintage 1970’s alternating pale yellow stripe and mustard yellow stripe sheet backing, a dark gray and white spot fabric binding, and quilted in a linear cross pattern.   Quilting thread on the front is a light gray and white on the back. 

The vintage 1970’s yellow/mustard and white striped backing has a gentle fade.  The fabric is soft, has no discoloration, stains, rips, or tears.  

The neutral jungle animal front fabric has a light gray background with animals in warm neutral colors of  shades of gray, light and dark yellow, light and dark tan, black, and white.  Various animals include lions, elephants, monkeys, giraffes, turtles, crocodiles, zebras, and parrots. This neutral color top and vintage stripe sheet back combine to create a unique quilt that you can use on the floor, in a crib or toddler bed, or across your lap in your favorite chair!  Quilt has been washed and dried to create the optimal crinkle!   Please view pictures and message me with any questions.  

To accompany this crib quilt is a yellow vintage coverlet pillow cover that measures as a 20” x 20” square (poly pillow form included).  I created this pillow cover from a vintage yellow machine quilted coverlet.  As this cover is created from a pre-existing piece, there is minor wear for the age.  There are also some small discolorations near the bottom of the pillow cover.   Fabric is soft and butter smooth.  The back of this pillow is light gray solid fabric.  Closure is a slip style.  A great decor piece to put on a chair or on a toddler bed!
