This Rare antique book was a powerful landmark in moving cooking forward here in North America. While it is a book club edition; it is as close to a First Edition as it gets...its still vintage and still in excellent condition for an 80 year old book and 1941 was its release year. Not a reprint...or a late edition. It is a very good book for any culinary enthusiast or cookbook collector to have on display. I have seen few that rival its condition in my online searches. And of course the content contained with in the pages are treasured Recipes for any cook interested in culinary History
