This listing is for an Exceptional Colorful Antique 19th Century Baluchi or Yoruk Bird or Horse Oriental Rug measuring about 29x31 ", All Wool , with a Geometrical Abstract Design of 12 birds or Horses. I have shown this rug to several major oriental rug dealers. Most label it as a 19th Century Baluchi Bird Rug , Several think it is an Antique Yoruk Birds or Horse rug. Some point out that they have 2 legs hence Birds . in Exceptional Antique as shown condition with Re-salvaged double salvage on two sides. Ends secured as shown previously. Some loss to guard border on two ends as shown. A smaller than quarter spot darned upper right as shown. See and examine all posted images for other might be flaws Colors are strong andI do not note any fading. All Natural dyes.
Not washed while in my possession but it is overall pretty clean.
Great Design and Detail.
It is a great decorative and practical piece.
Wool Warp and weft and wool pile. A couple of loose threads on ends could be wefts although most weft I noted are brown.
