This beautiful set of 6 framed wood block prints by Keiko Yurimoto (1906-2000) depicts the life of Japanese children with stunning detail and color. Each print captures a moment in daily life, from playing with kites to helping with chores. To chasing lightning bugs.This set of woodblock prints are printed on handmade Japanese paper & are highlighted W/"bakashi" shading;light "gauffrage",a heavier black ink which has been applied to the children's hair,clothing and eyes. A great collection of Japanese prints!! The provenance of the prints are from a local Private Estate and are in good condition (1st printing 1957).One print has slight  toning in the margins. Others have thin strips toning in the white margins ( along the edges.Do view provided photographs .Any ? do ask! Overall a wonderfully illustrated set of near fine Japanese Woodblock prints.

Each black  Frame Measures 10,5" x 8.5" & Has a wooden back.
