Susan Williams-Ellis, was one of the famous painters of Portmeirion dinnerware. Her daughter Angharad Menna designed this pattern based Welsh folk art called Llanelli ware. Welsh Dresser design was inspired by 19th century pottery beloved by Angharad. This is a modern day version of the traditional design using large brush strokes & colours to create wildly bold abstract florals.
