Incorrectly described as the "Weak Overdate" in PCGS Coinfacts, the 1858/7 Snow 7 is a completely different variety than the later die state regular 1858/7 Snow 1 that has lost detail in the 7. The Snow 7 features a less prominent overdate but has neat doubling in some of the letters of UNITED and in the last couple letters of AMERICA. This example here shows original wear, with both the overdate and doubling still visible. This coin is rarer than the 1858/7 Snow 1, and it's great to have both examples in an Indian Cent variety collection.
