CONDITION AND DESCRIPTION: |

New original Saeco Brew Group/Brew Unit BREW GROUP SYSTEM is
one of most important part for any fully automatic coffee machine. Its
function is to expression of coffee in the machine. I recommend you to replace the Brew
Group of your coffee machine when it’s leaking, or when the moving parts in
Brew Group are excessively worn out. Ignoring the above described problems
can lead to damage of the brew drive gears. To extend the life of your Brew
Group I recommend you: · Daily: Rinse the Brew
Group and dispensing head at the end of each day. If your machine has the
pre-ground coffee option, press the pre-ground coffee button, do not insert
any coffee in the chamber and press the tall coffee button. · Weekly: Use the cleaning brush
provided with your machine to remove any coffee residue that you see. Then
wash the Brew Group with warm water. Do not soak the Brew Group in water when
cleaning. Never put the Brew Group in the dishwasher. · Monthly: Remove any
coffee residue and apply an even coat of lubricant to o-rings, to the piston
shaft, to the tracks on either side of the filter screen and to the water
inlet coupling with a cotton swab. Lubricate all moving parts. Make sure that
the funnel is completely dry before re-inserting the group into the machine. Do not hold down the lever with the
press indicator when placing the Brew Group back in the machine. Make sure
the bottom of the group is level and that the guides on the base of the group
slide into the grooves on the platform inside the machine. The Brew Group
should audibly lock into place. Confirm that it has done so by pulling on the
handle without pressing the lever down - the Brew Group should remain firmly
in place. If your BREW GROUP is over 15 000 coffees
and shows some of the above problems I recommend you to replace it with new
one. |
