This is an original vintage wire rug/carpet beater with a wooden handle.  The rug beater measures approximately 31-1/2" in length, with a 5" long wooden handle.  At its widest, the rug beater measures approximately 8-1/2" across.  The wire rug beater is in good condition with some rust.
