Vintage HUTSCHENREUTHER Selb, Germany "Warwick Cobalt" #9634 Fine Gilt China. Pattern Description: #9634, Smooth Edge Cobalt & Gold Rim, Gold Trim, Made in Selb, Bavaria, Germany. This pattern is discontinued. Surprisingly it was only active in 1966. Maker's Marks: This set all seem to have the 'Hutschenreuther Selb LHS Bavaria Germany' mark that was used from ca. 1939 until 1965. Although Replacements Ltd. experts report this pattern was only made in 1966, I think the mark dates are close enough to agree. Note: Hutschenreuther made several similar cobalt and gold patters including Majestic (ca. 1986-1989), Pembroke, The Diplomat, Queen Anne (all with unknown dates), among others. Condition: Excellent condition. It's difficult to believe these are over 50 years old. Very light utensil scratches may be present, but shelf wear is negligible as these have been stored with felt dividers. The gold trim shows very little wear. See photos.
