Heavenly 1940s white rayon crepe gown, studded with glittering rhinestones.

Befitting an Old Hollywood starlet, or femme fatale, this goddess gown is cut on the bias for a figure flattering fit, features a deep V neckline, whisker draped shoulders, wide cut cap sleeves, full swishy skirt, and a fitted waist, where the rhinestone application is denser, emphasising a super feminine silhouette.

Dress closes with a side metal zipper, and has a small weight sewn into the neckline, to maintain the shape of the studded V collar.

Shown unpinned on 34" bust, 26" waist, 35" hip mannequin.

Bust: 34"-36"
Waist: 26-27"
Hip: free, due to bias cut
Length: 54" (centre back collar to hem)

Dress is in good, wearable, clean vintage condition. Some tiny snags throughout the dress, perhaps where rhinestones have caught on the fabric in the past, hardly noticeable. A little bit of seam stress at base of V neck. Some slight seam separation at sides. The only significant flaw, are some dark marks at back hemline. Please see last photos for examples of all these.
