Chicago Cutlery was founded by Alfred Paulson in 1930.  The company started out as a knife sharpening services for meatpacking companies and other professionals.   In 1969,it began manufacturing professional-grade knives. Its knives or knife sharpeners are comfortable, sturdy and well-balanced, making them easy to use.  

This knife sharpener has the carbon steel stick and wood handle.

Maintenance Suggestion:  Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.  After washing it, wipe the stick and handle completely dry.  Use of dishwasher not recommended.
