Sterling Souvenir Spoon from Hot Springs, South Dakota. Founded in the 1880s as a warm water mineral springs health resort. By 1900 "Evans Plunge" became a popular destination for those seeking relief from rheumatism and tuberculosis and "take the plunge" in the warm waters. The gorgeous scenery also adds to the appeal of the area. American and European tourists continued to visit the area well into the first half of the 20th century. The area was also a popular attraction as the gateway to the Black Hills.  This charming spoon touts South Dakota's agricultural history.
