For your consideration: If you have been looking for a really nice hunting, fishing vest, or even a vest that could work as a photography vest for carrying gear and accessories, then here is a great option for you to have a looksee at!

Up for auction, we have a really nice, vintage 1980's Columbia Sportswear Hunting or Fishing Vest , size men's XL.  The measurements are as follows:

25" across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam

24" total length from top of collar down to the bottom hem in front

23" total length down the back from top of collar to bottom hem

The long pouch pocket on the back is 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide

This is a really great vintage Columbia vest that was likely made first and foremost for hunting, but would work extremely well for a fishing vest, and would also work very well and as photography vest, for those who like to use them. All of the pockets and pouches on the front...except for the two pouch pockets on the upper left and right chest...are lined inside and lightly padded, and the pockets on the inside a lightly lined. There is also the long pouch pocket on the back of the jacket which could hold game, fish, or a mini tripod/bipod or even a fixed or zoom telephoto lens...just don't fall backwards! Onthe inside of the vest you have the size zippered and small sewn in pouch pockets.  It is a vest that will hold a lot of gear no matter what you might use it for, and it is very well and sturdily made...great old school Columbia quality!

This vest could also work well as a "work" vest for a guy who needs to carry smaller parts and/or tools on them as part of their job...thinking maybe electrical or plumbing, or mobile on site repairs for home or auto, something where you need a way to carry smaller parts and have them be handy for you while you are working on site.  Worth a thought.

Please Read About Sizing>>>This vest is a men's XL size...but...one thing to note is that it is a short length cut vest, being only 24 inches in front, and 23 inches in back, so it sits above your normal waist line for most guys. Just be aware of that. Also, since it is 1980's sizing, it's "XL" size is a bit smaller than what todays XL size is, so if you are a very husky built guy in the body...chest and abdomen...this XL vest might be a wee bit tight fitting on you.  I wear XL and it fits me fine, but if I was a more husky build and had more of a belly, it would likely be too snug to be comfortable.  So keep that in mind.  If you wear size large, this vest could also fit you, but, it would be a bit loose fitting on you, unless again, you have a thick husky build in the body.

Please be sure to double check your measurements against this vest to make sure that it will fit you before you decide to buy it.

This would be a terrific vest for the man who needs a good, sturdy versatile vest for work or play.
