This is a amazing 3D example of a fossil vertebra from a jurassic marine reptile (Plesiosaur sp) which was collected many decades ago and recently purchased from an old collection. It is a good size with great colour, preservation and detail. Bone specimens from the Whitby area are rare to find, with the plesiosaur much rarer than ichthyosaur, crocodile and fish so it would make a great addition to any collection !
