The main unit - including screen, cpu, battery and bezel - was replaced by Polar after a the old one got a fall so it really is only 6-7 months old

A  laminated Gorilla glass lens protects the always-on colour touch display. The Gorilla glass lens has an anti-fingerprint coating.

The dial is encased by a forged stainless steel bezel.

The rechargeable battery will last up to 7 days in watch mode (with continuous heart rate monitoring) and up to 40 hours in training mode. The battery can withstand extreme temperatures, from -20C to +50C. The battery life however may be affected in temperatures below -10C.

The model is also water-resistant up to 10 bars.
